As a new tenant
As a new tenant, you are usually the person taking over: the person using energy from the transfer date.
Step by step
- Agree the key handover date.
- Read the meters with the departing user where possible.
- Check the EAN codes, meter numbers and readings together.
- You each enter your own details and confirm the document.
- Send the final version according to your supplier’s current instructions.
Please note
- This service does not transfer the previous resident’s energy contract.
- For the address you leave, a separate document may be needed.
